PoE2 Skill Point Quests: All 12 Campaign Rewards in 0.5
PoE2 has 12 campaign reward events that grant two weapon set passive skill points each.
Completing all of them gives a 24-point campaign weapon-set budget. Use the checklist below to find
a missing reward without confusing these points with normal level-up passives.
Checked against current 0.5 campaign guides on July 11, 2026.
The key is to track the reward event, not just a quest title. Some points come from a named side quest,
some from an optional boss, and the final pair arrives only after the Interlude sequence is complete.
A list that covers only quests will miss boss rewards; a list that covers only map icons can miss a
required turn-in.
All PoE2 skill point quests and bosses in campaign order
Each row is one reward event worth +2 weapon set passive skill points. The “common label” column uses
the name most players are likely to recognize, while the objective column is the safer way to verify
completion when guides disagree about a quest or boss name.

Final hand-in
Do not add the Atlas Precursor Fortress reward to the 24-point campaign total. Current guides list a
separate +2 reward at the Site of the Chosen, but it is an endgame objective, not one of the 12 campaign events.
Use the PoE2 Atlas tree guide when the question moves from campaign
rewards to endgame map routing.
How to check missing passive points in PoE2
Start with the world map rather than replaying every zone. Permanent campaign bonuses are represented
by map icons, and an incomplete icon narrows the search to one area. Then compare that area with the
objective column above. A missing boss kill, a quest item still in storage, and an unfinished NPC
hand-in can look like the same two-point gap in your build budget.
1. Count the gapA two-point gap usually means one reward event; four points usually means two.
2. Scan map iconsCheck Acts 1-4 and every Interlude, including zones you passed quickly.
3. Match the objectiveVerify the boss, item pickup, altar use, or NPC hand-in rather than only the quest name.
4. Check Act 4 chainsDark Mists and Trial of the Ancestors have linked steps that older lists describe differently.
5. Revisit InterludesKhari Crossing, Howling Caves, and Wolvenhold each contain a separate reward.
6. Complete the returnThe final pair is easy to miss if you finish the last Interlude and immediately move on.
Objective icons are the fastest way to narrow a missing reward. This official Steam screenshot shows PoE2's map-based objective interface; campaign layouts and labels vary by area.
If every icon looks complete but your count is still short, verify the point type before assuming the
campaign is bugged. A guide may quote total character passives, weapon set passives, or Atlas rewards
in the same sentence. Those totals are not interchangeable. Also relog or change zones after a reward
if the interface has not refreshed, then compare the allocation screen again.
Weapon set passive points are not normal level-up passives
The rewards in this guide are weapon set passive skill points. They let a build create
weapon-specific branches that change when the active weapon set changes. They do not increase the
unrestricted passive budget in the same way as leveling, so counting all 24 as ordinary travel points
will make a planned route look legal when it is not.
Point source
What it does
How to plan it
Common mistake
Level-up passive point
Supports the character's general passive route.
Spend on the shared route and required travel nodes.
Assuming campaign weapon-set rewards increase this pool.
Campaign weapon set point
Supports allocations tied to weapon-set specialization.
Reserve it for branches that actually differ between weapon sets.
Using the 24-point campaign total as 24 unrestricted passives.
Ascendancy point
Unlocks nodes inside the selected ascendancy tree.
Track separately from both normal and weapon-set passives.
Expecting a campaign skill-point quest to repair a missing ascendancy point.
Atlas reward
May add a later reward outside campaign progression.
Record after reaching the relevant endgame objective.
Including it when checking whether all 12 campaign rewards are complete.
Before copying a build, compare its general, weapon-set, and ascendancy budgets separately. The
PoE2 weapon set points guide explains how to spend Set I and
Set II branches after those rewards are earned. The
PoE2 in-game build planner guide explains the import checks,
while the PoE2 ascendancy points guide covers trial-based
ascendancy point tiers and the ascendancy change guide covers
respec decisions. Keep those budgets separate when checking a saved route.
Why current PoE2 skill point quest lists use different names
Search results mix three naming systems. A quest guide may say “Dark Mists,” a campaign checklist may
identify the Journey's End encounter, and a wiki may name the boss or rescue objective. These can refer
to the same reward chain. The safest comparison uses four fields together: campaign phase, area,
required action, and the +2 weapon set passive reward.
Older pages introduce a second problem: the early-access campaign once repeated Acts 1-3 on Cruel
difficulty. The current 0.5 route uses Act 4 and the Interludes instead. If a checklist tells you to run
Cruel Act 1, Act 2, or Act 3 for the missing pair, it is describing the older campaign structure. Use the
PoE2 0.5 changes reference for other patch-sensitive route
checks, and always compare the in-game map after a campaign update.
Time-sensitive note: quest names, boss labels, and reward presentation can change during early access.
This page was checked on July 11, 2026; the in-game world map and current official patch notes remain the final authority.
Turn the 24 campaign points into a safer build plan
Do not allocate every weapon set point merely because it is available. Begin with the shared route in
the PoE2 0.5 passive tree planner, then identify the smallest branches that should change
between weapon sets. Typical candidates are attack-specific clusters, a defensive swap package, or a
utility branch that only matters while a particular weapon is active.
Next, test the plan at the budget you actually have today. A leveling character that has completed only
Acts 1 and 2 should not be evaluated with the full 24-point campaign allowance. Add rewards in campaign
order, note which objective unlocks the next pair, and keep the shared travel path valid even when a
weapon-specific branch is inactive.
Finally, save the reward audit beside the build. A short note such as “missing Howling Caves +2” is more
useful than silently increasing the point budget in a planner. It tells you exactly what to complete and
prevents a shared build file from promising points the character has not earned.
The wiki and guide sites are community references, not official rules pages. Where labels conflict,
this guide deliberately describes the whole objective chain and tells you to verify the reward icon in game.
FAQ
How many campaign skill point rewards are in PoE2 0.5?
There are 12 campaign reward events in the current 0.5 route. Each grants two weapon set passive
skill points, for 24 campaign weapon set points. Keep the later Atlas reward outside this count.
How do I check missing passive points in PoE2?
Compare incomplete permanent-reward icons on the world map with the table above. Check the boss kill,
item pickup, ritual or altar interaction, NPC hand-in, and the final return after all Interludes.
Are PoE2 skill point quest rewards normal passive points?
No. The campaign rewards listed here are weapon set passive skill points. They are designed for
weapon-specific allocations and must not be counted as unrestricted level-up points.
Why does one guide say Dark Mists while another names a boss?
One guide may use the quest-chain name while another uses the encounter, area, or final objective.
Match Act 4, the Kedge Bay-to-Journey's End chain, and the +2 reward instead of relying on one label.
Do I need to repeat Acts 1-3 on Cruel for these points?
Not in the current 0.5 campaign structure. Cruel Act checklists describe the older route. Act 4 and
the Interludes now contain the later campaign rewards covered by this page.
Does the Atlas reward count toward the 24 campaign points?
No. Current guides identify a separate +2 reward associated with the Precursor Fortress and Site of
the Chosen. Treat it as an endgame reward and keep it separate when auditing campaign completion.
